Ministries

We take the discipleship and security of our children seriously. Our children's ministry program is for ages 0-7 years old. Our aim is to come alongside parents in the discipleship of their children. We catechize our children and do verse memorization with them as well as sing God-centered songs with them, pray with and for them, and have a time of crafts and play. We have a secure check in approach for parents, each volunteer goes through a background check annually, and we have a security team that patrols the ministry area during the service. Additionally, we have cameras in each room readily available to parents and the security team every week. Kid's Ministry opens after congregational singing each week.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Phil. 4:6)

We are a praying church. We believe that prayer is an opportunity to commune with the Lord and we believe that prayer is practical- that God really accomplishes His plan and purposes for our lives through the means of prayer.

Therefore, each Lord’s Day we gather and have focused times of prayer to God. In our morning service we have times of corporate prayer including a time of confession and assurance of salvation and at 4pm each Sunday members of our congregation gather together to pray for the church and the particular needs of the members.

At Deer Park Fellowship we love to sing. And when we gather each week to sing, we sing songs that make much of God. Each Lord’s Day we come together to sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Eph. 5:19) and as we do we are reminded of who we are in Christ Jesus.

Our prayer is that everyone that walks through our doors will feel seen and welcomed. We believe that hospitality must be intentional, therefore, we have different areas of the church focused on providing a hospitable environment to our members and visitors.

In addition to providing a hospitable place, we also aim to provide a safe place for you and your family to worship. We have a vetted and trained security team in place every Sunday that monitors our children’s ministry, sanctuary, and common spaces. They ensure a proper check in and check out system for our children and they keep the overall building secure during the service.
