Monday
Scripture: 1 Timothy 1:18-20 18 This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, 19 holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith, 20 among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.
Point of Focus: God entrusts faithful men to be pastors and elders of the church. They are responsible to defend the gospel from false teachers.
Pray
Sing: How Great Thou Art
Tuesday
Scripture: 1 Timothy 1:18-20 18 This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, 19 holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith, 20 among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.
Point of Focus: Prophecy is a message from God. It was a gift of the Holy Spirit inspiring people to proclaim the word of God. Now that we have the complete Word of God, we still have prophets who will proclaim the word, but we have no need for new prophecies.
Pray
Sing: How Great Thou Art
Wednesday

Point of Focus: There are evidences of the Holy Spirit that encourage us as we fight sin to the glory of God. What are the evidences of the Holy Spirit?

Thursday
Scripture: 1 Timothy 1:18-20 18 This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, 19 holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith, 20 among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.
Point of Focus: There will be opposition to the gospel. Men like Hymenaeus and Alexander profess to be Christians but they teach false doctrine and refuse to receive correction.

Friday

By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith, 20 among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.
Point of Focus: Opposition to the gospel is an evidence that God is working. The opposition Christ faced was the means God used to accomplish his redemptive purposes.

Saturday
Scripture: 1 Timothy 1:18-20 18 This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, 19 holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith, 20 among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.
Point of Focus: Discipline is for our good. If we are being disciplined, experiencing the consequences of our sin, God is extending grace to us. He is giving us an opportunity to see the eternal consequences for sin if we do not repent.
Pray
Sing: How Great Thou Art
